SUGGESTED READING LISTS
These interactive bibliographies will give you suggested books for different topics related to your trip as well as my "Top Four" picks for those with limited time. Each book image is clickable so that you can learn more about the books and decide for yourself which topics you'd like to explore further. While these suggestions will be useful to you now in preparing for your journey, some of these materials may be more interesting to you AFTER our travels when, hopefully, your curiosity has been ignited so that you’ll want to continue learning.
What is NOT included in these lists is a bibliography of academic journal articles and monographs. As the writer of Ecclesiastes so wisely wrote thousands of years ago, "Of the making of books there is no end. . . " (Ecc. 12:12), so I’ve only given you a few starter suggestions. If there's a particular topic that you want to research more, the best place to start is probably with a search on worldcat.org.
