Caption: This 16th cent. Ottoman Castle was built over an early Christian basilica (ca. 4th-7th cent. and possibly the city's 1st cathedral) and a previous 12th cent. castle. According to tradition, this is also the spot where where <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_the_Lionheart" target="_blank">Richard the Lionheart</a> married <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berengaria_of_Navarre" target="_blank">Berengaria of Navarre</a> in 1191. She was subsequently crowned Queen of England.
